Six Reasons Customers Choose Us

Focused Expertise

Our head watchmaker has over eighteen years working exclusively on mechanical movements. This is not a general repair shop that also handles watches.

Written Documentation

Every service concludes with a clear written record. Restoration pieces receive a full account of the work, which travels with the watch as part of its history.

Clear Communication

We explain what we find before we act. If scope changes mid-service, we contact you first. You decide how to proceed at every stage.

Transparent Pricing

Our three service tiers are priced clearly. Additional costs are only incurred when parts are genuinely needed — and only with your prior agreement.

Realistic Turnarounds

We give honest estimates and keep to them. When a project requires more time — especially collector's restoration — we tell you upfront, not after the deadline.

Accessible Location

58 Yaowarat Road is well connected by public transport. Easy to reach for drop-offs, and a sensible choice for customers sending watches from outside Bangkok.

Expertise

Years at the Bench, Not Behind a Counter

Watch repair is a skilled trade that develops slowly. Understanding how a movement behaves after twenty years of use — how oil degrades, where tolerances shift, which parts are likely to need attention — takes time that cannot be shortcut.

Kraisorn Phattharasuk, our head watchmaker, has spent eighteen years focused on mechanical movements. That depth of experience shows in the quality of assessments and the consistency of outcomes across every service category we offer.

  • 18+ years specialising in mechanical movements
  • Swiss and Japanese calibre experience
  • Vintage and heritage movement knowledge
  • Timing machine measurement on every service
  • Water resistance checked before return
  • Condition log on every piece at intake
  • Watchmaker-grade tools and lubricants
  • Separate storage for each watch in service
  • No scope changes without owner approval
  • Written work summary on completion

Process

A Process That Keeps You in Control

From the moment a watch arrives, it is logged, assessed, and stored individually. Nothing happens to the piece without a clear understanding of the scope and your agreement to proceed.

We use watchmaker-grade equipment — timing machines, pressure gauges for water resistance, appropriate lubricants for the movement type and age. The tools are suited to the work, and the work is documented so you have a permanent record.

Value

Pricing That Reflects the Work, Not the Market

Our three service levels are structured to cover distinct needs — a strap refresh, a full mechanical overhaul, or a collector's restoration. Each is priced to reflect the actual time and skill involved.

We don't apply broad markups or add charges for standard components of a service. If additional parts are needed, we explain why, what they cost, and what happens if you choose not to proceed. The decision is always yours.

Strap & Seal Service ฿4,300
Complete Service & Regulation ฿9,600
Collector's Restoration ฿18,000

Prices are for standard scope. Any variation discussed and agreed before work proceeds.

Distinctive Features

What Only Siam Nalika Offers

The Restoration Record

For every Collector's Restoration, we produce a detailed written account of all work carried out — movement findings, parts replaced or retained, dial and case condition noted. This document stays with the watch.

Owner-Informed Scope

Restoration projects are scoped in conversation with the owner before work begins. We don't assume — we ask about the piece's history, your intentions, and what you'd like preserved or addressed.

Timing Machine Transparency

We share the timing machine readings from before and after service where relevant. Seeing the regulated rate in writing gives you a concrete measure of what the service achieved.

Heritage Parts Knowledge

Our parts research covers discontinued calibre components through reputable channels across Southeast Asia, Japan, and Europe. We're not limited to what's immediately available at local suppliers.
